Check out our premiere gift ideas for when you don't have a clue of what to get or don't know the recipient better than the lady sitting next to you on the bus.

1. Candles & Bath Products (girls)
This shit is expensive, unnecessary, and what girl, regardless of age, doesn't like nice bath products? Votivo makes an amazing Red Currant candle.

2. Wine of the Month Club (adults)
You mean they'll mail me wine? Send a selection of wines, monthly, depending on your budget. K&L wines in Hollywood offers wine clubs from $20/month. I can buy myself a Christmas gift right?

3. Gift Cards (anyone)
Less personal but nonetheless greatly appreciated. The classics are Macy's, iTunes, Best Buy and Target, but these become more personalized if you can find out your recipient's favorite shopping destination. Also most small local shops & boutiques will do gift certificates.

4. Personal Services (huh?)
Girls like spa trips or manicures, guys like massages or even a barber's straight-razor shave. Anyone would like a foot massage from the Sunset Foot Spa in Hollywood.

5. Homemade Gifts (really?)
If you're tight on cash, or just want to give a more personalized feel to your gift, make something that reflects who you are. The gift will be treasured for your labor of love. Think knitting or sewing projects, a hand-made plant assortment or baked goods. I would personally make a trio of homemade ice creams.
