Ways Spring Effects New Angelinos

When I first moved out to LA from the Mid-Atlantic, I was really quite taken aback at how different life is out here. Here are some new-to-LA expectations for Spring and the regional realities I found.
 
1. You can start thinking about swimwear again!
Oh…we never stopped? Huh.
 
2. You can wear white again!
Oh…we never stopped? Huh. (Okay – this one never really mattered to me. But to SOME people…!).
 
3. The flowers will be blooming all over!
Oh…they never stopped? Huh.
 
4. The roads and traffic will be crap because it’s now warm enough to do construction!
HAHAHA! Like that EVER stops!!! Seriously, they need to rename the San Fernando Valley “The North Los Angeles Melting Tar and Barricade Zone”.
 
5. People will come out of their shells and be happier and friendlier with all the pretty weather!
No comment. And hang on a sec – I gotta take this call….
